Microkinesitherapy was first developed mainly in France and then spread quickly in French-speaking Europe – Belgium and Switzerland – but also in other countries: Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine.
Outside Europe, the method has gained traction in South America (particularly Brazil) as well as as North Africa (Morocco).
Many humanitarian missions have been carried out to help vulnerable populations, especially in Africa (Benin, Ivory Coast, Cape Verde, Madagascar) and Asia (Cambodia, where the work is ongoing).
Microkinesitherapy has been presented at international scientific conferences (WCPTs) in Australia and Hong Kong, Canada (Science of Touch), and the United States (holistic medicine).
The technique is also taught in Germany at the Heilpratiker Training Center in Munich and in Poland at the University of Poznań, as part of the MA program in Physiotherapy.
